One day print project: Clutter

Print Elective

The project I was given for the print elective was centred around a chosen space. The space i chose was my room. I am quite a messy person so figured that my bedroom could make intersting prints.

I etched out an image of my bedside locker, I had been recording been recording the changes that took place each day on my locker to create a stop motion video.

 

I etched out different objects that were completely out of proportion to place in my room.

I wanted to create a 3D room by using my 2D prints. I made a 3D bed, wardrobe, desk and a bedside locker. i made the foor using the out of proportion objects that i previously etched. i etched a window,a  door, a vent, a radiator, a plug socket and a lightswitch for the walls.

I made this print using the sheet of my bed which I inked up. I wanted the print to look like my black sheet had been put through a microscope and the dead skin could be seen!!
