Distorting my face using photoshop

Mr. Wooden Head!

I wanted to make a piece that I could actually move the facial features. Wood i felt was the best material to use. After carving into the removable parts, i decided to make a print out of them.

I used a needle and thread as a pencil

I messed around with cut up images of my facail features and stuck them onto velcrow and made my own version of a 'Mr. Potato Head'. This is a sort of sketch for a possible 3D piece.

I wanted to get other people envolved in my project by playing around with my face as i record their creation.

Facial Movements

I am doing my Movement and Motion project on facail movemen.t I experimented first by taking pictures of myself and noting the movement.

 I recorded family members making different staged expression

                                             

I then played with how different materials change facial features.
